Background on Eva Fettig

Eva Fettig is a seasoned telecommunications professional specializing in the area of profitability improvement and more specifically billing and network optimization.  Eva has spent the last 20 years delivering bottom-line results to telecommunications providers including:

 

  • Merging the networks of 2 large west coast CLECs resulting in a 40% reduction of COGS usage expenses.

 

  • Negotiating and implementing enterprise class data center collocation contracts reducing the existing data center contract by 55% for a large MVNO wireless provider.

 

  • Leading AT&T's relationship with SBC and BellSouth suppliers with a primary focus on cost reduction, performance improvement, and customer acquisition/retention.  Ms. Fettig’s greatest achievement was securing a settlement bringing millions to AT&T’s bottom line and reducing over 2,400 man-hours of work.

 

  • Delivering Ameritech’s UNE loop and transport products to market from product design, to ordering implementation, to billing implementation and product management.

 

  • Reconciling Transport product billing delivering $25M to Ameritech’s profitability.

 

Eva Fettig is Founder of The Fettig Group.  Prior to forming The Fettig Group, Ms. Fettig served as a consultant to leading firms and California-based start-ups in the telecommunications industry.  From 1999 through 2004, she held senior management positions at AT&T Local.  In 1994, she joined Ameritech serving in a variety of product management capacities for over 5 years.  Ms. Fettig started out her career at AT&T Long Distance analyzing telecommunications expense data.  Ms. Fettig graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1989 and received an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1994.
